Director Karsten de Vreugd has made his feature film debut 'Pinksterprins', based on his own experiences within the Pentecostal church. The film, which contains autobiographical elements, explores themes such as faith, doubt and personal freedom. De Vreugd, who broke away from the church twenty years ago, uses magical realism to portray the inner struggle of main character Thomas. 'Pinksterprins' will be broadcast on NPO3 on 22 February 2025 and will then be available on NPO Start.
