Professor and author Liesbet van Zoonen has been appointed chair of the Authors' Union, replacing Miro Lucassen who is stepping down for health reasons. Van Zoonen, who has been on the board since 2023, has experience in the cultural and creative sector. She promises to stand up for the Authors' Union in challenging times. Lucassen will remain active as a board member.
