NL Film and EO are jointly developing the drama series 'De Camino', based on the book of the same name by Anya Niewierra, winner of the NS Audience Award 2023. The series, written by Lex Passchier and Janneke Rinzema, follows Lotte as she walks the pilgrimage route where her husband committed suicide. She discovers that he lied about his identity. The series, which will air in 2027, explores themes such as war, loss and truth. The book is a bestseller and will also be published in several languages.
