Tim Mielants' "Small Things Like These" has been named Best Film at the 2025 IFTA Awards. The film also won awards for Best Screenplay, written by Enda Walsh, and Best Leading Actor, an honour that went to Cillian Murphy. The IFTA Awards, held at Dublin's Royal Convention Centre and broadcast on RTÉ One, attracted a number of notable names, including Saoirse Ronan and Andrew Scott. Saoirse Ronan was notable for winning two acting awards for different roles.
