The 75th Berlinale is once again marked by political tensions, similar to last year when directors such as Ben Russell, Yuval Abraham and Mati Diop spoke out against Israeli war crimes in Gaza. New artistic director Tricia Tuttle had hoped for a celebratory anniversary edition, but political tensions dominate the run-up to the festival.
