On February 7, the Day of the Flemish Film Sector took place in De Grote Post, where speakers such as Bart Temmerman and Anouk Mertens discussed the successes and challenges of Flemish (co-)productions. During the Debate of the Ensors, Michaël Pas, Angelo Tijssens, Gilles Coulier, Ivy Vanhaecke and Emmy Oost discussed the current state of the Flemish film sector, with an emphasis on financing problems and the need for innovative audience design strategies. It was emphasized that well-thought-out audience development is essential for the success of audiovisual projects.
