The Film- und Medienstiftung NRW has awarded more than €8.35 million to 29 projects by 2025, including six feature films and three TV series. The funded films include 'Die Berufung' by Andreas Prochaska and 'Herkunft' by Soleen Yusef. Projects by Ali Soozandeh and the writing duo Yasemin and Nesrin Şamdereli also received support. Documentaries and script and pre-production development projects were also funded. Furthermore, several films received support for sales and three cinemas received funding for children's and youth programmes.
