On 14 February 2025, the European Parliament will host a panel discussion at the 75th Berlinale, entitled "AI in the Audiovisual Sector: Balancing Innovation, Ethics and Democratic Values". The event, moderated by Sten Saluveer, will take place in Gropius Park's Mirror Tent from 15:30 to 18:30. The aim is to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can drive innovation while preserving European cultural diversity and democratic values. There will be two panel discussions, followed by an interactive Q&A session, with speakers from politics and industry.
