The International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) 2025 experienced a 12% growth in ticket sales and attendance, with a total of 296,000 tickets sold. Walter Salles’ film ‘I’m Still Here’, about a Brazilian family fighting the military regime, won the Audience Award. The festival screened 482 films from 94 countries. IFFR Pro expanded with more projects for Darkroom and CineMart, and introduced the HBF Empowerment Award, won by Uta Beria’s ‘Tear Gas’.
