Huub Roelvink, founder and director of Cherry Pickers Film Distribution, has won the Distributor Award of the European Film Market (EFM). The award, with a cash prize of €7,500 sponsored by Fintage House, recognizes his commitment to distributing international cinema in the Netherlands. The award will be presented during the EFM Kick-Off event on February 12. Roelvink, who previously worked at Imagine Filmdistributie and Cinema Delicatessen, releases 12 to 15 titles in the Benelux each year.
