Gaëtan Bruel has been named president of the French National Film Fund (CNC), France’s leading film organization. Bruel, a former director of French Cultural Services in the U.S., joins from the French Ministry of Culture, where he served as chief of staff since January 2024. He has been committed to promoting French talent in the U.S., including through the creation of Villa Albertine, a residency program for French creatives. Bruel succeeds Olivier Henrard and will begin on February 17.
