Vincent van Velsen will be the new Head of Exhibitions at Eye Filmmuseum, where he will succeed Jaap Guldemond from 1 February. Van Velsen, previously curator at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, will continue Eye's artistic direction and work on exhibitions such as those of Eye Prize winner Garrettt Bradley and Tilda Swinton. Guldemond, who has held this role since 2012, will hold the position of Founding Director Eye Art Collection until his retirement, focusing on enriching the Eye film collection with works of art.
