The Belgian film industry is up for Oscars with several nominations. Grimonprez's documentary has been nominated and awarded for direction and screenplay. Nicolas Keppens' short animated film "Beautiful Men", produced by Brecht van Elslande, received a special mention at Film Fest Gent and has also been nominated. In addition, Gints Zilbalodis' animated film "Flow", a co-production with Brussels studio Take Five, has been nominated for best animated film and best international film. The Oscars will take place on 2 March.
