Oos Kesbeke, nicknamed 'the Gherkin King', and his sons Camiel and Silvian make their film debut in "Augurk aan Zee", directed by Frank Lammers. The film, written by Martin van Waardenberg, tells the story of a factory worker who inherits a resort on Bonaire. Shooting starts in late January in the Netherlands and Bonaire, with some scenes in Kesbeke's gherkin factory. The cast also includes Tibor Lukács, Jelka van Houten and Monic Hendrickx, alongside others such as Oussama Ahammoud and Rico Verhoeven.
