The KRO-NCRV series "Het mondkapjesgoud" about the face mask deal of Sywert van Lienden and his business partners Camille van Gestel and Bernd Damme can be seen on NPO 1 from February 5. The series, which consists of four parts, uses audio fragments, chat messages and documents to reconstruct the deal. In 2020, they sold 100 million euros worth of face masks to the government, earning millions. A civil and a criminal case are pending against them for fraud and money laundering, among other things.
