Cineville, which started in 2009 and now has 74 film theaters in the Netherlands, has welcomed its 100,000th member. This marks a significant milestone for the company, which offers unlimited film visits for a fixed monthly fee. The success comes at a time when film theaters are seeing a 6% increase in visitor numbers, despite an overall 7% decline in film attendance. Cineville members go to the films an average of 25 times a year, much more often than the average Dutch person. Cineville is also active in Belgium, Austria and Germany.
