Dutch director Jan Keja has died at the age of 87, his family has announced. Keja, known for his work for broadcasters such as AVRO, KRO, NOS, NCRV, and TROS, and as director of the film Titaantjes, was the first Dutch person to receive an Emmy Award in 1978 for his work on the episode De Vlieg from the TROS series Uit de wereld van Guy de Maupassant. Keja also contributed to the youth programming of the NTR, including Sesame Street, Het Sinterklaasjournaal and Het Klokhuis.
