Het Ketelhuis, the Amsterdam film theatre, is facing a major change now that film distributor September Film is taking over the exploitation. This development follows after the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts announced that it would no longer provide subsidies to Het Ketelhuis from 2025. September Film, known for organising the Paff film festival and operating Filmtheater Rembrandt in Arnhem, sees this step as essential for the future of the film industry, according to director Pim Hermeling.
