The shooting of the German-Dutch miniseries Tatort: Overgrenzen has started in Delfzijl, the Netherlands. This production, a collaboration between Lemming Film and NordFilm, marks the first co-production in the more than 50-year history of the German crime series Tatort. Gaite Jansen plays one of the leading roles as a Dutch chief commissioner who, together with Thorsten Falke (Wotan Wilke Möhring) and cybercriminal Mario Schmitt (Denis Moschitto), investigates a murder case that extends beyond the German-Dutch border. The series is directed by Hans Steinbichler. The series is expected to air on the NPO in 2026.
