The International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) has announced the line-up for the 42nd edition of CineMart, the co-production market. From 2-5 February 2025, the festival will present 20 feature films and 4 immersive works to international industry representatives. Selected projects include works by established directors, including Ukrainian director Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk’s “Something Strange Happened to Me” and Israeli-British filmmaker Daniel Mann’s “The Uganda Project.” Cheryl Dunye is developing “Black Is Blue,” her first major project since 1996’s “The Watermelon Woman.” Projects range from war stories and anti-colonial struggles to queer voices and dystopian futures.
