The Film and Audiovisual Markets in Europe (FAME) alliance has been launched, comprising 24 European organisations including film festivals and market events. The alliance aims to stimulate innovation, collaboration and growth within the European film and audiovisual sector. FAME focuses on supporting projects from early development through to distribution, with a focus on financing and research. Its members emphasise the importance of physical markets and diversity within the industry, and are committed to a sustainable, inclusive and diverse structure that supports independent creation and storytelling.
