Producer Het Volk has won the NPO Zapp fiction pitch with the idea to adapt the beloved comic strip series Jan, Jans en de kinderen into a new series for NPO Zapp. In collaboration with broadcaster AVROTROS, a humorous and topical adaptation for both children and their parents is being worked on. The series, which brings the iconic family to the screen, is the result of a pitch in which forty proposals were submitted. The series is expected to be shown in the fall of 2026.
