During the 17th TorinoFilmLab Meeting Event, 19 awards were handed out, worth a total of €376,000, after three days of meetings and presentations with over 300 audiovisual professionals from 43 countries. Ukrainian film Antonivka by Kateryna Gornostai and Vika Khomenko won one of four TFL Production Awards of €40,000 for their project, praised for its thoughtful script about mourning and peaceful death. Other winners included projects from India, the Philippines and Brazil. New awards were also handed out for series projects and a comedy, in addition to the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award for The Criminals by Serhat Karaaslan from Turkey and the CNC Award for Josie Goes to War.
