Marjan van der Haar has been appointed the new business director of Film by the Sea, where she will form the board together with artistic director Jan Doense from 1 January 2025. Van der Haar, with a wealth of experience in the film world, including as business director at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and director at Filmproducenten Nederland, takes over from Leo Zuidweg. The 27th edition of the Zeeland film festival, known for its focus on book adaptations, will take place from 12 to 21 September 2025 in Vlissingen and other Zeeland cities.
