Heleen Rouw is leaving as CEO of Cinekid, after five years of leading the organisation to new heights. Under her leadership, Cinekid has secured its funding, grown into a major platform for children’s and young people’s creativity, and firmly positioned itself within the European children’s and young people’s film sector. As of 1 January, Rouw will take up the position of Programme Director at Creative Industries Immersive Impact Coalition (CIIIC). Nicolien Luttels has been appointed interim CEO, with a search for a new CEO planned for early 2025.
