The documentary "Soundtrack to a Coup d'Etat", directed by Johan Grimonprez and produced by Daan Milius and Rémi Grellety, has been nominated for the European Film Awards. The film, which had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and won an award, examines the postcolonial struggle in Congo from the perspective of Andrée Blouin. The screenplay, based on archive footage and historical music shooting, sheds light on Blouin's role in female emancipation and independence in Africa. "Soundtrack to a Coup d'Etat" is an international co-production with the support of the VAF/Film Fund.
