Shooting for the second season of the Videoland drama series Máxima has started in Baarn, at Paleis Soestdijk. Lead actors Delfina Chaves and Martijn Lakemeier return as Máxima and Willem-Alexander, with Elsie de Brauw and Sebastian Koch as Beatrix and Claus. New characters such as Prince Friso (Bram Suijker) and Prince Constantijn (Steef de Bot) are introduced. The season, which will be available to stream in 2026, explores Máxima's challenges in maintaining the love of the Dutch people. It is produced by Rachel van Bommel of Millstreet Films, directed by Saskia Diesing and Joosje Duk, with a screenplay by Rifka Lodeizen and Daan Gielis.
