'BXL', the directorial debut of Ish and Monir Aït Hamou, has won the North Sea Port Audience Award. The film, which had its world premiere on 11 October during Film Fest Gent, tells the story of two brothers, Tarek and Fouad, who grow up in Brussels. While they are trying to find their way in life, Tarek gets the chance to chase his dreams, which gives their lives a new direction. Ish Aït Hamou emphasized during an FFG Talkie that the film was inspired by dreams, not by problems.
