The film 'Comeback', directed by Jan and Raf Roosens, tells the story of 14-year-old Ava as she navigates the complex relationship between her divorced parents. Her mother, a former techno DJ played by Veerle Baetens, strives for an international comeback, while her father, played by Gorik van Oudheusden, leads a quieter life. The film, with music by Raf Keunen and Jeroen De Pessemier, highlights the emotional depth of family relationships against the backdrop of the techno world. 'Comeback' opens the 17th Ostend Film Festival and will be in cinemas from 5 February.
