Marijn de Wit, a graduate of the Film Academy, wrote the script for the short film "Wes" and the book "Becoming who you are". His screenplay for "De Terugreis" represents the Netherlands at the Oscars and won the Golden Calf for best feature film. De Wit is currently working on a children's book "Apocalypse for children" and a new script. In addition to writing, he works at a drop-in center for the homeless. He draws inspiration from films such as "The Third Man" and admires the work of Jim Jarmusch and Mary Oliver.
