For the first time, Belgians have won the Golden Televizier Ring with the VPRO program Dwars door de Lage Landen, in which Arnout Hauben, Ruben Callens and Philippe Niclaes travel through the Netherlands and Belgium. The program received 55% of the votes during the gala in Carré, Amsterdam. Other winners were Tim Hofman (best presenter), Frank Lammers (most popular actor), and Merel Ek (Televizier Ring for talent). André van Duin received the Golden Televizier Oeuvre Ring for his career. The Televizier Ring Youth went to H3L and the prize for online video series to the FOMO Show.
