The 22nd edition of the Zagreb Film Festival, taking place from 4-10 November in the Croatian capital and online at croatian.film, has been announced. The festival will open with Bruno Anković’s “Celebration” and close with Pedro Almodóvar’s “The Room Next Door”. Nine films will compete for the Golden Pram Award. This year, the festival introduces participation in the European Film Academy Short Film Network, which qualifies it for the European Film Awards. In addition, there will be special sections for youth films, returning filmmakers, and films from the five largest European film industries. The festival will also offer an extensive industry programme, including workshops and masterclasses.
