Three Dutch media productions from VPRO have won prizes at the Prix Europa. The documentary series De Butlers, about a butler school, won in the category best factual television series. The podcast Ik ben een Kweekje, which tells the story of a Dutch woman of Surinamese descent, was awarded best audio documentary series. The social media platform Club Lees, an online reading club, was awarded the title of best online youth project. A total of fifteen Dutch productions were nominated for these European media festival prizes.
