During the Go Short Arnhem film festival, focused on regional film talent, Jop Kraaijkamp and Sebastian Mulder won the Golden Deer in the categories best fiction and non-fiction respectively. Kraaijkamp's animation film "Schaap Lekker" is about a sheep struggling with work pressure, while Mulder's documentary "And a Happy New Year" highlights the stress of animals during fireworks on New Year's Eve. The jury, consisting of Nazmiye Oral, Guido Coppis and Bea de Visser, praised both films for their unique approaches and strong messages.
