The experimental feature documentary L'Ancre by director Jen Debauche and co-writer Julie Labas, starring British actor Charlotte Rampling, will have its world premiere at the Doclisboa festival in Lisbon. The film, produced by Eurydice Gysel for Czar Film & TV in co-production with Atelier Graphoui, fictionalizes documentary testimonies through a journey to the North Pole and the creative use of voices. The story follows Florence, who listens to people who have experienced madness, and is made possible by the VAF/Filmfonds.
