Elizabeth Francisco talks about her experience with Cypher Cinema, which allowed her to fully focus on filmmaking. During the lockdown in early 2022, the journey started with an online meet & greet, where participants could pitch their projects. Francisco was working on her film RobaAlma, which she had already started in 2021. Thanks to Cypher Cinema, she was able to further develop the project and eventually receive funding through the Filmfonds Shorts. RobaAlma premiered at the Curaçao Film Festival this year and was a great success, with sold-out screenings.
