The Cinema in Antwerp starts the academic year with a unique series of lectures on film history, led by film historian Wouter Hessels. This series offers an in-depth look at the evolution of film, from the early pioneers to contemporary European cinema, including important movements such as the Nouvelle Vague and the Czechoslovak New Wave. Participants will have the opportunity to attend 16 illustrated lectures, each followed by a relevant film screening. All of this is made accessible for a democratic price with the FILM CLASS PASS.
