The 44th edition of the Netherlands Film Festival concluded on Friday 27 September with the presentation of twenty-four Golden Calves to makers of films, documentaries, series and digital cultural productions. With the expansion to more professional awards in the drama series category for script and direction and the addition of the Golden Calf of the Public Documentary for the most visited documentary, the number of Golden Calves this year has increased from 21 to 24. The most important film awards of the Netherlands were presented to the makers during the EY Golden Calves Gala in Stadsschouwburg Utrecht
