The Film in the classroom project, an initiative of Schooltv, Netwerk Filmeducatie, the Netherlands Film Festival and the public broadcaster, has been extended by three years due to its success. This project, which started five years ago, makes film education accessible to both primary and secondary schools. The public broadcaster provides films free of charge, Netwerk Filmeducatie provides teaching materials and Schooltv offers this on their platform. The project, which reaches 300,000 pupils annually, is celebrating its fifth anniversary and will continue to publish new films and teaching packages.
