During the Talent Award Ceremony in Stadsschouwburg Utrecht, the Netherlands Film Festival (NFF) announced the winners of the NFF Debut Competition and NFF Student Competition 2024. Elvira Porcedda won the Debut Competition with her film De Jackies and received the Film Award of the City of Utrecht 2024. In the Student Competition, Sammy Shefa Idris, Jetske Lieber, Alisa Bloemendaal, Meryem Çifteci and Nour Alkheder were awarded. These awards support the development of new film talent. The winning films will be shown on 24 September in Kinepolis Jaarbeurs.
