André van Duin is the new narrator in the second Dikkie Dik film, entitled A New Friend for Dikkie Dik, which will be shown from December 18. He takes over the role of the deceased Burny Bos. Van Duin feels it is a great honor to take on this role and looks forward to entertaining both young and old with the adventures of the famous red tomcat. The films are based on the book series by Jet Boeke.
