Charlotte Reekers, the new coordinator of the Holland Film Meeting (HFM) 2024, part of the Netherlands Film Festival, explains what to expect from this event that aims to launch new Dutch film projects internationally. HFM 2024 focuses on 15 ambitious Dutch feature film projects, including a documentary, and this year introduces the Dutch Gallery selection in collaboration with SEE NL. This initiative highlights four projects in the post-production phase and invites producers and directors for screenings in the presence of international and national distributors and festival programmers. In addition, HFM offers support to screenwriters and filmmakers in the early development phase of their script and helps film teams with advanced scripts to define and reach their audience. Reekers emphasizes the international focus of HFM and its role in supporting the Dutch film industry.
