The Netherlands Film Festival (NFF) has started the supporters campaign Welcome to the club with the placement of the Golden Calf statue at the Stadsschouwburg in Utrecht. This year, the Golden Calf is wearing a red-pink NFF scarf. The NFF is looking for supporters to support the festival and thus Dutch film, series and digital culture. By purchasing the supporters scarf, you determine which role you want to fulfill; that of supporting role, outstanding role, leading role or starring role (€25 - €250). The income from the supporters scarf will be used to supplement the subsidy deficit, which arose due to the loss of the structural contribution from the municipality of Utrecht for the period 2025-2028.
