NTR/NPO has selected six directors for the new police drama series Alpha 00, after a search among more than 200 applicants. The series, written by Simon de Waal and produced by Horizon Film, follows a special police team during intense operations. The selected directors are Chris Westendorp, Morris Maturbongs, Rachel van Bruggen, Roxanne Stam, Timo Ottevanger and Yim Brakel. Michiel van Jaarsveld serves as showrunner. Alpha 00, which will be broadcast in 2025 on NPO 3 and NPO Start, highlights exciting police cases and themes such as corruption and trauma.
