The debut film 'BXL' by Ish Ait Hamou and Monir Ait Hamou will have its world premiere on 11 October 2024 during the 51st edition of Film Fest Gent. This film, which sketches an intimate portrait of two young people from Brussels who are searching, offers a nuanced view of the capital. Inspired by their own youth in Brussels, the film follows brothers Tarek and Fouad, where a chance for Tarek to pursue his dream changes their lives. 'BXL' emphasises that hope can come from unexpected places and will be released in cinemas on 22 January 2024 by Paradiso Filmed Entertainment. Ish Ait Hamou, known as a choreographer and author, and his brother Monir, active in the film industry, wrote and directed the film together.
