Felix de Rooy will be honored with the Golden Calf for Film Culture this year during the EY Golden Calf Gala of the Netherlands Film Festival (NFF) on September 27 in Utrecht. De Rooy, whose career is put in the spotlight in the documentary "Nomade in Niemandsland" by Hester Jonkhout, receives the award for his exceptional contribution to Dutch film culture. His work, which highlights the colonial past, cultural perspectives and queer identities, has earned him a prominent place in the Dutch arts and culture sector.
