The film "Bon Bini: Bangkok Nights" by Jandino Asporaat has won the Golden Calf of the Audience, after it attracted more than 550,000 visitors between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024. This is the fifth time that Asporaat has received this award for a film from his Bon Bini series. Last year, "De Tatta's" won this award with 694,000 visitors. The Golden Calves will be awarded on September 27 in Utrecht, where this year for the first time a Golden Calf for Audience Documentary will also go to "Human Forever".
