Halina Reijn's new film, Babygirl, starring Nicole Kidman and Harris Dickinson, had an exciting premiere at the Venice Film Festival. The film, about a top woman who starts an affair with a younger colleague, received enthusiastic reactions and applause during a scene. Reijn, who returned to the festival for the first time since her participation with Zwartboek in 2006, found it a personal and exciting moment. Babygirl has been praised by international media and is in the running for the Golden Lion.
