The film 'Die Fremde' by Austrian director Feo Aladag won the Grand Prize for Best Film at the 37th edition of the Ghent Film Festival. German screenwriter and director Wolfgang Kohlhaase, chairman of the international jury, announced the laureates in the Ghent town hall. For Belgium, actress Els Dottermans and director Jan Verheyen were in the six-person jury.
