In October 2023, filmmaker Frans Bromet suffers a brain hemorrhage. After a short hospital stay, he ends up in the Reade rehabilitation center in Amsterdam. He stays there for about three weeks to recover as best he can. Bromet quickly picks up his camera and films his roommates and the care staff.
